Content operations specialist with design abilities
- | Full-time
- | Bucharest, Romania
Job description
Hi! I’m Andra, Head of Marketing at Pentest-Tools.com.
We’re looking for a content operations specialist with design capabilities to join our team and help us scale high-quality content production for a global audience of cybersecurity professionals.
If you find process, structure, and visual consistency rewarding - and you’re driven to improve not just what you do but how you do it - this might be a sign you’re in the right place.
We’re especially excited to meet candidates who are curious, reflective, and eager to build better systems - both for content and for themselves.
At Pentest-Tools.com, we help ethical hackers and security engineers in 119+ countries uncover and fix vulnerabilities faster. We create content that’s clear, helpful, and rooted in real-world needs and challenges. As part of our 60+ person team, your work will support a growing library of technical and educational assets that empower our customers to act with focus and purpose.
Responsibilities
As a content operations specialist, your job is to make sure our content workflows run smoothly and consistently—from brief to publication—while contributing to the visual quality and clarity of the final outputs.
You’ll work closely with content writers, product marketers, designers, developers, and security specialists to manage content development and asset production across multiple formats. You’ll also create and maintain templates, support light design tasks, and optimize how we plan, track, and deliver content.
Here’s what you’ll focus on:
Content operations
Own and optimize our content production workflow (briefing, review, publishing, updating)
Maintain our internal content calendar and manage deadlines across content, product marketing, and sales enablement
Support and enforce content standards for formatting, structure, and reuse (especially across website pages, briefs, and documentation)
Coordinate with writers, editors, designers, and stakeholders to keep content projects moving
Work closely with our web developers to ensure implementation aligns with content and design briefs, and meets our quality standards
Manage and edit content directly in our CMS (Statamic) and CRM (Hubspot) - from page structure and layout to embedded assets - to ensure consistency, accuracy, and brand alignment
Contribute to tracking and reporting on the performance of published assets (views, open rates, CTR, downloads, etc.)
Light design & templating
Create and manage templates in Figma, Google Slides, for consistent, on-brand visuals
Make layout adjustments or light design updates to features images for website pages, Youtube thumbnails, key visuals for social media, one-pagers, sales decks, and case studies
Collaborate with the design team in prepping assets (resizing, exporting, QAing graphics for blogs, social, email, and product pages)
Help visually translate structured content (like product features or workflows) into usable diagrams or infographics

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
In your first few months, we’ll support you in mapping out our core content workflows, collaborating across teams, and gradually taking ownership of production systems and visual consistency.
Over time, you’ll help raise the quality bar for how we deliver content - while spotting opportunities to streamline, standardize, or rethink how things get done.
Experience requirements
We’re looking for
A hybrid thinker - someone who’s organized, systems-oriented, and has a sharp eye for design and communication. You understand how content gets made and why small operational improvements can lead to big wins across communication formats and channels.
You’re a great fit if you’re motivated by structure, energized by collaboration, and excited about continuous improvement - both in your workflows and in your skills.
We’d especially love to hear from you if you have:
3+ years of experience managing content or marketing operations, preferably in a SaaS or B2B tech company
Figma skills (must-have): you’re confident creating and editing layouts, components, and visuals using Figma
Experience with layout and publishing tools: Adobe InDesign is a nice to have, especially for formatting case studies, one-pagers, and similar assets
Experience creating or maintaining templates for content production (Docs, Slides, Figma components)
Strong organizational skills - you love tracking tasks, keeping things moving, and ensuring no details fall through the cracks
Clear communication - you can coordinate across teams and summarize next steps, blockers, or process updates clearly
Editorial awareness - you know how to format and structure content for readability, SEO, and visual impact
Bonus points if you:
Have worked with technical or cybersecurity content
Are familiar with CMS platforms (Wordpress, Statamic, or similar)
Understand basic design systems or marketing enablement workflows
Have supported cross-functional launch campaigns or content ops at scale
