Vulnerability description

Apache Tomcat is prone to a CSRF Token leak vulnerability.

Risk description

The flaw is due to an error in index page of the Manager and Host Manager applications included a valid CSRF token when issuing a redirect . Successful exploitation will allow remote attackers to bypass a CSRF protection mechanism by using a token.

Recommendation

Upgrade to version 7.0.68, or 8.0.32 or 9.0.0.M3 or later.
